As she continues her tour across Europe, pop queen Madonna has announced she’s pondering a trip to the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland.
The trip — en famille — would be to show her four kids “how lucky they are”, says the singer, who notes that touring the concentration camp would be “life changing” for Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, newly adopted Mercy, 4, and David, 3.
The Auschwitz visit would take place when Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour rolls into Poland later this month.
The Auschwitz announcement comes just a week after Madonna — the world’s latest uber-Jew — wrote a front-page story in the Israeli daily Yedioth Aharonot about how Kabbalah saved her life.
Now as she gears up to visit Israel next month — where she is expected to take the kids to see the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem — Madonna wants her young brood to first see Auschwitz and learn first-hand both the scope of the Nazi atrocities and their own good fortune.
We gotta say, for a Jew-newcomer, Madonna has certainly mastered the whole Jewish mother guilt thing very very well.
