Remember back in June when three year old pics of Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (above) and his former boyfriend having sex were released on the Internets?
We do — and we’re over it.
But apparently Black isn’t — and the young scribe is suing Los Angeles-based sex pics/tape website Starzlife for showing his skin to the world.
The lawsuit is compelling both due to its rather convoluted nature and only-in-Hollywood cast of random, drama-filled characters.
The lawsuit essentially claims that Black’s ex — one Jeffrey Delancey — took the pics of the duo in coitus in 2006. The following year, Delancey had moved on from Black to a new love — one Michael Lawrence — who found the pics on Delancey’s computer and jealously demanded they be deleted.
The clearly were not — and Lawrence actually stole them for his own eventual illicit intentions.
Fast forward to earlier this year and once Black became famous for winning an Oscar earlier this year for the gay-hero-bio-pic Milk, Lawrence and cohort Nathan Folks got busy liaising with the folks over at Starzlife to sell and promote the pics.
Black, meanwhile, says he had no idea the pics were still around — claiming he asked Delancey to delete them way back when they were still together.
With his naughty bits now well exposed to the public, Black is suing Starzlife, Lawrence and Folks for invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, violation of the right of publicity, unfair competition, fraud, conversion, accounting, constructive trust, and injunctive relief.
We wanna see this one played out in court.
Harvey Milk would not be proud of Dustin Lance Black for having sex with a hooker (not boyfriend) and making a porn video that is obviously shot by a third party and then denying any knoledge of its existance. That’s the way to stand up for Gay Rights! Shame on you Lance! It is funny how these idiot attorneys’ think Lance didn’t know he was being filmmed? Did they see the pictures? Reading about his attorney’s they are known for ruthless behavior and unethical practices. Maybe Lance and his attorney’s have something in common?! Do they think we are all stupid? Try pulling that one over on the jury! This will be settled and if it goes to court I am sure that video will come out. We havn’t seen the end of this I am sure.
