Even though it certainly skews dude, this new concept from Hong Kong’s Fleming Hotel sounds kind of Gay to us — not that there’s anything wrong with that.
But here goes: This boutique hotel in the central business district of Wan Chai has launched an all-male floor with all-male rooms.
Hong Kong’s first, the concept is called “His Space” and is an extensions of the Fleming’s ladies-only “Her Space” floor which launched two years back.
In “His Space” — guy guests can look for in-room Playstations, Sony Wii, Xbox 360, golf-simulators, DVD selection (with emphasis on action) and a selection of men’s magazines.
The rest of the hotel is mostly co-ed — and includes healthy snacks, tasty restaurant and access to a massive nearby gym.
We called over to the Fleming for a bit more info on that reading material. Sadly, we were told it skews more toward golf and motoring than sex and drinking.
There are four “His Space” rooms now up and running — beginning at $180/night. And if “his-spacers” find themselves unfulfilled by all the techie-gear (or each other) — there are five “her space” rooms just a short elevator ride away.
