Following an international manhunt — and a clearly well-watched appearance on America’s Most Wanted — rabid racist and anti-Semite Micky Louis Mayon has finally been captured: In Israel.
Mayon — who faces firearms/reckless endangerment/illegal flight charges back in the USA — was arrested by Interpol last night in our favorite town of Tel Aviv after two years on the run.
Apparently — and kinda understandably — Mayon thought Israel (what, with all those Semites) was the last place Interpol folks would search for him.
U.S. Marshals are now on their way to Israel to escort Mayon back for trial. During his time in Israel, local officials report:
“He said… that he did not hold a job while in Israel but made some money by washing dishes and that his parents sent him money to make ends meet.”
While Mayon’s choice of hideaways is certainly odd, he clearly (and sadly) made his mark on Israel judging by THIS recent Jerusalem incident.
