Our friends over at Popsquire are reporting about the curious case of 50 year-old prison inmate Jeffrey Salery, who beat up a fellow prisoner who dissed Michael Jackson.

Salery (above), whose 21 year-old victim wound up in the hospital with a broken jaw, is to be charged with aggravated assault.

It all took place at a prison near Modesto, CA, where Salery is serving time on narcotics charges.

No one knows exactly what the kid said to Salery.

But considering Jackson’s now well-documented taste for pills, perhaps the King of Pop and Jeffrey had some sort of “professional” relationship!
