It’s been barely a week since rap-slapped Perez Hilton began the expose-a-thon that became the Dustin Lance Black naked-and-having-sex-in-full-color affair — which essentially confirmed that the very Gay and out Black has very gay and out sex.
Yawn!
But today, it appears as if a far saucier sex, nudity, Twitter and reality TV scandal is breaking — but because it’s taking place in Black media-land, no one seems to care.
In case you do care, it appears as if Dorion Standberry — the young star of BET’s College Hill Atlanta — pissed off a jilted lover who revealed via Twitter some very not-safe-for-mom photos as well as oh-so telling Tweets confirming Standberry’s man-on-man action.
Having already decamped for bigger and better things in Los Angeles, Standberry is, unsurprisingly, already denying he’s Gay — though the pics are very clearly him!
What is surprising is that a few three year old shots of Black — who’s white — getting horizontal can cause a full-scale media-thon while Standberry’s very of-the-moment story receives scant notice outside the Black press.
So what’s the deal? We know Perez is busy dealing with his own recent encounter with a Black man. But do B-list stars gotta be white to get some tabloid/blog press around here.
Um, maybe because Dustin Lance Black is an Oscar winner and this dude is a “star” of a ripoff of a lame MTV “reality” show?
