We may be a bit late, but we’ve just had the chance to see THIS shocking video of Jewish American kids in Jerusalem on the eve of President Obama’s historic Cairo Speech last week.
The four-minute video was made by film-makers Max Blumenthal and Phillip Weiss who are clearly conflicted about the footage they have created.
It is hate filled and evil — white supremacist language capped with yamulkes! And it has had 400,000 hits on Youtube!
“Fuck the niggers — white power!”
Nigger this, watermelon that.
Need we say more.
Shame!

A sad and shameful day to be an American Jew!
And this was shot before the infamous Cairo speech — God only knows what these kids are thinking/saying now!
Already the backlash has begun.
Ta-Nehisi Coates in The Atlantic is clearly saddened by the display above, but notes that “I see a bunch of drunk racist white kids, doing what I’d expect a bunch of drunk racist white kids to do. I don’t really have ‘higher expectations’ because of the particulars of the Jewish experience, any more than I have ‘higher expectations’ for Irish Americans.”
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
While we will steer clear of waxing nostalgic about the histories-of-oppression shared by Blacks and Jews, we can make it very clear that Jewish Americans — especially those in the Holy City of Jerusalem — have a duty and responsibility to uphold the values and honors of free and democratic societies.
Jewish history is replete with thousands of years of murder, pillage, disenfranchisement, humiliation and suppression.
As the experiences of Jews during the Inquisition, the Holocaust, Kishnev Pogroms, Babi Yar and numerous European expulsions confirm, our privileged status in the U.S. and Israel did not just happen and should never be taken for granted.
The vile language of these kids is proof that the younger generation of Jewish Americans clearly has not learned this lesson!
Jeffrey Goldberg — also writing in The Atlantic — clearly agrees and calls the video “racist nonsense”.
If only it were so benign!
Finally, the film-makers have just released THIS new film showing a kinder, softer image of Israel in an attempt to redeem themselves — but we say too little too late.
Final final thought — this video was taped a week ago……Who knew about this. And why hasn’t the uproar been far more vocal?
Nasty stuff… But it seems a little cherry-picked. I can only imagine what drunk frat boys in front of Ski Bar in the UES would say
