Israel continues to prove itself a bastion of contradictions this week. While on one hand, the country’s rightest government is openly supporting endless anti-Arab activities, in Tel Aviv, the city is welcoming its own Gay clinic.
Widely believed to be the first of its kind in the Middle East, the clinic is located in the city’s official GLBT center in Meir Park and will address a range of medical/social conditions with extra-GLBT sensitivity — with medical staffers receiving extra training in these issues.
The clinic, of course, will be open to all, but is aimed at Gay and Lesbian Tel Avivis.
Who knows — you may even see Michael Lucas there.
