Although we will be in Colombia, we’re exciting to learn about the upcoming Earth Hour 2009.

Now in its third year, the event hopes to see 1 billion earthlings turn out their lights for a complete hour — 8.30 9.30pm — on Saturday March 28th.

The results — as evidenced by the photo above of Dubai during Earth Hour 2008 — mean an international nod toward eco-consciousness and green living and a rare display of truly worldwide cooperation.
